The Award enhances the commitment of hikers and cycle hikers in promoting the trail through ethical and sustainable practices. The recognition is intended for those who complete significant sections (minimum 100 km on foot or 300 km by bike), documenting environmental protection and a deep connection with the territory.

The categories reward sustainability and Zero Waste practices, social inclusion, documentary quality and youth engagement (under 25), with a special section dedicated to cycle hiking. Applications require the submission of a dossier (GPS track, diary, photos and videos) by April 30.

The award ceremony takes place annually on the National SICAI Day, June 21, celebrating the winners and awarding them technical equipment. A tribute to those who experience the mountains with awareness, becoming active ambassadors of this shared heritage.
