The Hiker’s Passport is the essential document for anyone embarking on the 8,000 km journey along the Sentiero Italia CAI. This official credential serves as a travel diary and allows hikers to certify their passage through the stages of the route, becoming a lasting memory of the experience lived along the trail.

The Passport identifies those who set out on the journey, collecting stamps that certify the completed stages. Stamps can be requested at mountain huts and at SICAI-accredited accommodation facilities.

  • Purpose: Certification of the route and support for the culture of slow tourism.

  • Where to stamp: Mountain huts and SICAI-accredited facilities.

The SICAI Hiker’s Passport will be available soon.
